Crewing
Your Next Adventure on Water

Third, it is our commitment to try to match you up with the type of boat you’ll want to crew on at some point during our sailing season. There are limitations, most notably, weather. For example, MC Scows would not likely need an extra crew member unless winds reach 12 to 15 mph. E Scows might need a crew of one or two depending on each boat’s particular need for the week. Our keelboat fleet is more flexible since weight has little impact on performance in most cases and can take on more people for racing.
Fourth, a skipper might not contact you until the night before a race, again, because of circumstances related to weather. So don’t be surprised if you receive a last minute call.
Finally, regardless of experience, we’ll ensure you’ll have fun while you learn.
