| Experience: I have 3 seasons on Tampa Florida 80' plus ocean racers and I raced on Scott Erdmann's 43' boat in 2002 Lake Superior Race Week for Wayzata Yacht Club. Currently I have a female friend with NO sailing experience so we are looking to just "happy sail" 2005 season on a mid to large boat either at Minnetonka or Superior Lakes; we also have children some weekends, so Captains & boats that are "kid friendly" will give us more weekends we can crew. And while I know it is vastly different to sail a boat than to drive it, I believe my pure desire to become a part of a racing team and contribute to the success of a well-run race will allow me to make a significant contribution to whichever team I join. |
